Jennifer
Nelson - Manager

Jennifer is the manager of The Tumble Gym . She started gymnastics at the age of 6 and cheered through
high school. Jennifer graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelors degree in Human Development and a minor in
English in 2008. She has been working with children for over eight years now as a camp counselor, coaching, and
teaching.

Alec Russell - Lead Instructor
Alec started when he was 6 years old with YMCA gymnastics. He quickly realized
his passion for tumbling and began taking strictly tumbling classes at the age of 8. Soon after, he started training
for competitive power tumbling, trampoline, and double-mini trampoline. He is a 1 time national champion and a 2 time Illinois
state champion. Alec attended Appalachian State University for music as has been an avid musician for almost as long
as he has been a gymnast. He discovered a passion for teaching when he was 16 when started teaching swimming lessons
at the YMCA. He has been very happy coaching at The Tumble Gym and says he can’t imagine having a job that he
loves more!
Caroline Thomas - Instructor
Caroline is originally from Georgia.
Her parents own a gymnastics gym there and that is where she got her start in the sport. She coached at her parent's
gym for several years before moving to North Carolina. She now not only works at The Tumble Gym, but also at The Raleigh
School of Gymnastics and at The Cary School of Gymnastics. Caroline is currently attending the Southeastern Baptist
Theological Seminary.

Tori Williams-
Instructor
Mrs. Tori has been a coach at The Tumble Gym
since it's inception and has three children. Coach Tori was a national champion cheerleading coach for 10 years and cheered
at the Pro Bowl, Cotton Bowl & the Big 33. She is certified in all levels of cheerleading through USASF. Tori
has been coaching gymnastics and cheerleading for over 11 year and is a proud participant of p90x and has completed it twice.
Kaili Holmes - Instructor
Kaili has taken gymnastics classes since
she was five years old. Learning and perfecting the skills through the years was her goal, now it's her goal
to teach kids of all ages the joy of learning gymnastics. She
is on the gymnastics competitive team for her high school and loves the thrill of trying to perfect each more to score the
highest. She loves being around kids and helping them have fun while leraning. She says that working at The
Tumbl Gym is a blast and she can't imagine having a better job.

Chris Taylor - Instructor
Chris has been practicing parkour for three years and he is a member of Wake Forest
Parkour. His love for gymnastics started when he watched a close friend preform gymnastics skills, so he wanted
to learn. He started formal tumbling and is still continuing to learn new tricks and have fun with his classes. Chris also
attends Franklin Academy and enjoys video and film editing.

Brandin Gail Russell
- Tack-Out Camp & After-School
Ms.
Gail has been a member of The Tumble Gym team sine the fall of 2009 and really enjoys spending her time with the children.
She not only leads our after-school program, but she also helps out with the camp kids in the afternoons as well. With
over twenty years of teaching experience and a degree in art education, Ms. Gail is constantly coming up with new ideas for
projects and games. The kids love doing arts and crafts with Ms. Gail, playing games with her, and tumbling in the gym
with her too! Ms. Gail used to compete in gymnastics when she was a child and has been known as a great substitute coach
- especially for parkour! She has been married to her husband for 28 years now, has four children, and three grandchildren.
Mr. Alec is her first son and is our lead instructor here at The Tumble Gym. Ms. Gail says she really enjoys being able
to work along side her son. One day Ms. Gail hopes to write a book about all of the funny stories that the kids she
has worked with have told her over the years.
Mary Harrison - Track-Out Camp & After-School
Mary Harrison, or Ms. Mary as the kids all call her, enjoys working with the kids
and watching them learn and grow. She always tries to help everyone in any way she can and takes great pride the
role she plays in shaping the future. Ms. Mary was raised and educated in Warren, North Caroline and has three
sons - Daniel, Michael, and Mr. Anthony. She was an active worker and volunteer in the Warren County School System
with Headstart, provided childcare for many years, and also was a bus driver for the county. Ms. Mary is a
proud member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she is currently active in the youth sunday school activities.
She also really enjoys reading, riding horses, and camping.
